CheckMatter provides online conversion tools and calculators, including but not limited to:

5. Accuracy Disclaimers
Important Notice: While we strive for accuracy in all our conversion tools and calculators, CheckMatter makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the results.
Conversion results should be verified independently for critical applications such as:
- Financial calculations and transactions
- Legal documents and contracts
- Engineering and scientific applications
- Medical or health-related calculations
- Academic or professional submissions
Users assume full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of results and any consequences of their use.
6. Intellectual Property Rights

9. Payment Terms (Future Premium Features)
While CheckMatter currently offers free services, we may introduce premium features in the future. When implemented, the following terms will apply:
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- Subscription fees will be charged on a recurring basis
- Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
- Failure to pay fees may result in service suspension
Users will be notified of any premium features and associated costs before implementation.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform illegal acts
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
- To submit false or misleading information
- To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
- To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
- For any obscene or immoral purpose
11. Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall CheckMatter, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action shall not exceed the amount paid by you to CheckMatter in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CheckMatter and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees).
This includes claims arising from your use of and access to the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
14. API Usage Terms (Future Integration)
CheckMatter may provide API access in the future. When available, the following terms will apply:
- API usage limits and rate limiting may apply
- Commercial use may require separate licensing agreements
- API keys must be kept confidential and secure
- Abuse of API services may result in access revocation
- Service level agreements will be provided with API documentation
Separate API terms and conditions will be provided when API services become available.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CheckMatter operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.
